Cold Weather is HERE!

Just a reminder that cold weather is here, but as long as it is dry (no rain or snow on the playground) and the temperature is above 32 degrees, we will be going outside for recess daily.  Especially this year, this time to get a little fresh air and movement is so important for students.  We ask your help in making sure your child comes to school daily dressed for the weather, including a warm coat and hat/scarf/gloves.  If you do not have a winter coat for your child, please let us know and we have resources to help fill this need.  

Wellness Checks

Please continue to do wellness checks with your child daily.  We appreciate the hard work everyone is doing so that we may stay in our in-person school setting.  While keeping kids home is not always convenient, we thank you as it helps our community stay healthy.  We will also continue to stay in touch with you if your child is quarantined so that they may stay up-to-date with what is happening in the classroom.

Report Cards - Will NOT be printed this year.  Report Cards available on Progress Book on Friday, October 30.  Please contact us if you have problems logging in.

Our school is participating in a creative fundraiser with Art to Remember that allows you to purchase keepsake products customized with your child's art. There are over 60 products and many are less than $15. These make great gifts and a percentage of every purchase goes right back to our school. October:

There is no school on Friday, October 16th and Monday, October 19th.

Parent Teacher Conferences are Tuesday, October 20th, Thursday, October 22nd,

 and Tuesday, October 27th.  All conferences will be held through a Zoom Meeting.  

You can expect a sign up genius link to come out in the next few weeks that

will allow you to pick your conference time.

October 23rd is the end of 1st quarter.

Art to Remember is coming!

From Mrs. Hoffert: Students are busy creating their masterpieces in art class.  Parents will have a chance to turn their masterpieces into keepsakes.  Students will receive a personalized order form that will go home towards the end of October.  A portion of the sales goes directly to the SLE art room.  Thank you, as always, for your generous support.  More information about the ATR program can be found HERE.
