Heather Clements - Math and Social Studies
My name is Heather Clements and this year will be my 25th year teaching and my 12th year in the Kings school district. I have degrees in Elementary and Special Education from Xavier University and a Masters of Education from Wright State University. My husband and I have lived in the area for the past 25 years and we have two daughters. Our oldest is a student at The Ohio State University and our youngest is a senior in high school. In the summer I love to go to the swimming pool, walk my crazy dog Stella or just hang out at home. In my free time I also love to read, knit and sew and of course watch OSU football and Xavier Musketeer Basketball. I am looking forward to another great year at SLE.

Jamie Fuchs - Science and Language Arts
Hi I'm Jamie Fuchs (to keep it simple we pronounce it fox). I joined the 4th grade team last school year and I was a 2nd grade at SLE for 6 years. I earned my Bachelor's degree in elementary education from a college in Montana called Salish Kootenai College and last December completed my Master's of Arts in Teaching (Biology focus) at Miami of Ohio. My spouse, 2 kids and I moved to the area from Montana in 2014. We have 2 cats, leopard gecko and three chinchillas. There is also a crested gecko that will be our classroom pet this year! When I have free time I love reading, taking walks or hiking and baking or trying new restaurants. Our family also loves traveling; I've been to over a dozen countries including Guyana, Cost Rica, Germany, and Denmark.
