Recess News
Please remember that when temperature and weather allows (no rain!), students will be going outside for about 20 minutes of outside play. This exercise and fresh air helps reset the brain and body for better focus in the afternoon. We are so fortunate to have such a great play area, including the running track, for our students. Please make sure you child is prepared for outside play, including winter coats, hats and gloves as necessary.
Barnhill Preserve Permission
Thank you to all those who have already sent in your permission forms. Just a reminder that only those students who return their permission forms will be permitted to attend this assembly. While there is an option to purchase memorabilia from this event, this is completely optional and not required in granting permission to attend.

We need a few volunteers to make the art show a success! Head to https://www.signupgenius.
February NO SCHOOL Dates
There will be NO SCHOOL on Friday, February 14 (Teacher Inservice) and on Monday, February 17 (Presidents Day).
In fourth grade, we do not have a Valentine's Day party, but do provide the students the opportunity to exchange Valentines with their classmates. This will take place on Thursday, February, 13.
- This is optional, but if students bring them, they should bring them for everyone in their homeroom
- Homeroom teachers will be sending home classlists for addressing at home.
- Students will make Valentine Bags in class that day -- please do not send Valentine boxes from home
