1 - The deadline for GIFTED TESTING is September 15. If you are interested, you can find the necessary forms on the Kings Website under the Curriculum tab. If you need assistance or have questions, please contact your child's homeroom teacher or call the SLE office.
2 - Picture day is September 16th. Forms to order pictures were sent home in the Friday Folder.
3 - SLE Walk-A-Thon --- The PTO is again sponsoring the Walk-A-Thon. Packets came home explaining the process of signing up sponsors this week. This is a major fund raiser for the PTO and we encourage all to participate in any way you can. Pledge money can be sent in weekly -- collected every Thursday.
4 - Music News:
- Please bring in your recorder money ($6 for one, $12 for 2) as soon as possible as recorder will be starting soon. Recorder Money is due Sept. 22.
- Sign-ups for 4th grade chorus were sent home this week on bright yellow papers. This is a great opportunity for 4th graders that practices in the mornings before school. If you are interested, please turn in your form. Forms due Sept. 17.
Just a reminder to please send only nut-free snacks to school with your child. Since students switch classes several times per day, it helps keep everyone safe. Thank you.
