Amazingly there are only a few weeks left in the first quarter.  Look for information on scheduling parent-teacher conferences in the next couple of weeks.  

No School Friday
Please remember that there will be no school for students on Friday, September 27 for Teacher Inservice Day.  

Spirit Week Next Week!
Walk-A-Thon is just days away!  Leading up to the Walk-A-Thon on Friday, October 4th, the final collection of donation envelopes will be Thursday 9/26 and Thursday 10/3.  In addition, we will be celebrating all week with a special spirit week!  We hope everyone will join in the fun!

D.A.R.E.
Once again this year, we are excited that we are able to provide 4th grade students with an introduction to the D.A.R.E. program  This is a scaled down (age appropriate) version of what they will receive in later grades.  The D.A.R.E. officer will be visiting us Fridays in October, talking with students about making smart, safe decisions. 



Flu Shots
Health Heroes will again offer the flu vaccine (injection) to students in the Kings School District. They will visit SLE on Tuesday, October 29th. Consent forms will come home with students the first week in October.  Please complete the form and return it to school by Friday, October 18th.
